一：园区概况

台州是一座美丽的滨海城市，位于浙江沿海中部，辖3个区、2个县级市和4个县，陆地面积9411平方公里，海域面积8万多平方公里，总人口556万。

    自古以“海上名山”著称的台州，兼得山海之利，物产丰富，人文荟萃。她是中国著名的果品基地和水产之乡，黄岩蜜橘、玉环文旦、仙居杨梅、三门青蟹等10个特色农产品产地获得“中国特产之乡”称号；她还是中国民间艺术、中国围棋、田径、武术之乡，是中国佛教第一宗天台宗和道教南宗的诞生地。

    台州山水神秀，风光旖旎，拥有天台山、神仙居、江南长城、长屿洞天等国家4A级旅游景区，是新千年第一缕曙光照耀的地方。

    台州是中国股份合作经济的发祥地，近年来依托先进制造业基地，正迅速崛起为中国经济型轿车之都、中国摩托车之都、中国缝纫机之都、中国塑料制品之都、中国家用电器之都、中国阀门泵类之都、中国工艺品家具之都、中国果蔬罐头之都、服装鞋帽之都。

    台州市委市政府确定的战略目标是：把台州建设成为长三角地区先进制造业基地、东南沿海现代化港口大城市和中国民营经济创新示范区，力争在全面建设小康社会与和谐社会中走在全省前列。

    1997年1月30日经浙江省人民政府批准，原椒江经济开发区升级更名为台州经济开发区，同年5月12日，台州经济开发区管委会正式挂牌运作。1997年6月25日，省政府批准区内的原椒江台商投资区更名为台州台商投资区。1998年6月，省政府批准在开发区内创建台州高新技术产业园区。2001年8月，经省政府批准，开发区东扩11平方公里。

    目前，台州经济开发区实际开发建设区域由中心城区、滨海新区、三山北涂围垦区三大区块组成。一是中心城区。位于台州中心城市规划中的核心区块，其中东环大道以东主要为工业科技园区；东环大道以西为城市新区，其中3平方公里的城市核心区包括市级行政中心、金融商贸中心和文化体育中心三个组团。二是滨海新区。2004年，台州市委、市政府为加快台州沿海产带建设，拓展台州工业发展空间，作出建设滨海工业新城的重大决策，并决定由台州经济开发区负责滨海工业城中部区块的开发建设。三是三山北涂围垦区。2005年，为加快台州沿海滩涂资源利用，拓展城市发展空间，台州市委、市政府决定由台州经济开发区和台州市水利局作为建设业主，负责台州市三山北涂围垦工程的建设工作，围区总面积13.9平方公里，总投资概算4.8亿元。

    台州经济开发区作为台州对外开放的窗口、本级经济的载体、区域经济的龙头、中心城市的核心区和体制改革的先导，承载着“发展经济、建设新城”的双重任务。开发区管委会作为市政府的派出机构，在市政府的领导下，对开发区实行统一领导和管理，代表市政府负责对区块进行开发、建设和管理。管委会现有办公室、政治部、财政分局、外经贸局、经济发展局（统计局）、现代服务业办公室、建设局、国土分局、社会发展局等职能机构，同时下设招商中心、土地储备中心、拆迁办、商业街管理办公室（与社会发展局合署办公）、土管所等5个事业单位以及3家具国有独立法人资格的公司：台州经济开发区经济发展总公司、台州市滨海建设发展有限公司和台州市三山涂围垦开发有限公司。

    建区十年来，台州经济开发区管委会按照“三年打基础，完成齐备的基础设施建设；三年构轮廓，完成中心城市的框架构建；四年增内涵，实现产业集聚，提升产业内涵、文化内涵”的发展思路，加快区块的开发建设工作，已直接投入资金55亿元，带动社会投资350亿元，在昔日的荒郊田野上崛起了一座设施完善、环境优美、社会文明的现代化新城。

台州经济开发区的“十一五”发展目标是：围绕城市建设、发展速度、发展质量和生态环境等“市区争第一”的发展目标，通过实施“工业立区、开放兴区、服务富区、创新强区”四大战略，把台州经济开发区打造成台州的中心商务区、转型升级的先进区、构建和谐的示范区、最佳的创业城区和最佳的人居城区。

1 Taizhou is a newly-developed harbor city in the middle part of Zhejiang golden coastal area and also one of 16 city members of Shanghai Economic Zone, bordering Ningbo on the north, connecting Wenzhou on the south. 1111Taizhou is the largest production base of plastic moulds in China and it enjoys the reputation as "the hometown of moulds" and "the kingdom of plastic products". There are more than 10 thousand enterprises producing Plastic or Moulds in Taizhou. The consumption of raw materials of plastic resin account for 12.5% of the total consumption in China. Besides daily necessities, Engineering plastics , electromechanical accessories and packing plastics are produced in Taizhou. Taizhou is an important production base of electrical household appliances and refrigeration fitting in China. The volume of production and sale of freezers ,air conditioning plant, pressure cooker and lavatory appliances occupie first place in the whole country. " Xingxing ", " Supor" and " ASD Aishida " are Chinese famous trademark. “Shuanglu” air conditioners are exempt from national quality inspection.

11 Taizhou is the largest production and export base of garment machinery in China. There are nearly 2000 enterprises producing garment machinery in Taizhou ,and can produce more than 300 kinds of products, such as industrial sewing machines , household sewing machine , electronic cutting machine ,etc. And the annual output capacity reaches 4 million, the output and export quantity account for 40% of China , occupying first in the whole country; Winding sewing machine and output of cutting machine account for 70% of international market. Feiyue group is the biggest sewing machine producing company in China, ‘Feiyue’ and ‘Gem’ are evaluated the Chinese Famous Brand.

水泵阀门

The scale, technology and quality of water pump products rank in the top place of the whole country. Domestic market occupation rate of some products are up to 75%, such as submersible pump , spiral shell pole pump and household pump ,etc. There are laudatory title of " homeland of the pump ", " capital of Chinese valve " for Taizhou. 台州公路网以高速公路和国道为主干线，甬台温高速、上三高速、104国道以及在建的台金高速、甬台温铁路穿境而过。全市已形成45分钟的交通圈，至杭州、上海分别为2小时和4小时车程。

Haimen Harbor, 2 km. fromTEDZ,has already established 61 quays of 10-thousand-ton-class, and links to the world by regular container liners. It is less than 200 nautical miles away from Keelung of Taiwan, Fuzhou and Ningbo.
